Bingley is a beautiful and historically interesting area of the Bradford district, with some fantastic open spaces. The past 18 months have shown more than ever how important local green spaces are. Bingley Walkers are Welcome and Bingley Camera Club hope to encourage local people who may otherwise not go walking to get out exploring the local area, while also welcoming visitors from other areas of the district and beyond.
Liz Beckwith, president of Bingley Camera Club says:
“As a club we aim to grow local photographers, we would like everyone to get out and about, look at the local area with fresh eyes and be inspired, take up our challenge to take photographs and enter our competition. Photography is very enjoyable and something that everyone can do, you don’t need fancy equipment to take a stunning photograph.”
Christine McCabe, chair of Bingley Walkers are Welcome says:
“Bingley and the surrounding areas have a lot to offer and are welcoming to everybody. Walking is a great way to improve health, and we hope that people will enjoy our walks and we look forward to seeing everybody’s photographs”
