How long have you been a member of the Club?
One year

How did you get into photography?
About 6/7 years ago I bought a Samsung digital compact camera and became fascinated with the possibilities with digital photography. My wife gave me an SLR for my birthday many years before this, but I never got to grips with how to use it. With digital I could explore the ins and outs of the camera and make inexpensive mistakes. I now shoot in manual mode 99% of the time with reasonable confidence.

What's your favourite area/genre/subject of photography?
What ever catches my eye, but mostly landscape.

What camera do you currently use?
Fuji X30/X100s/X-E1, of these my favourite is the X100s with fixed 23mm lens

What is the most frustrating thing about (your) photography?
Being a member of a camera club has improved my photography, but I feel that I have become stuck at this level for too long. I always get inspiration from guest speakers, nd I need to study other peoples work more.

Favourite Places for photography?
Anywhere...... I take inspiration from any subject that catches my eye...(hope this doesn't pretentious).

If you could photograph one thing/person anywhere in the world what would it be and why?
I find this difficult to answer……perhaps Rome without the other tourists

Do you have any photographers who have inspired you?
None at the moment.

What's your dream camera?
Fuji X-T1. I find Fuji cameras light to carry, easy to use and give the results that I like.

How could you improve your own photography?
Improve my camera skills and also not be afraid to use photoshop, I once thought that photoshop was cheating but used correctly it is a skill that can give amazing results.
